Trilogy Golf Club at Mountain House

The latest addition to the Trilogy portfolio of daily fee courses, Trilogy Golf Club at Mountain House is currently under construction just outside Tracy, California.  Set against the rolling foothills of the East Bay area, this Fred Couples / Gene Bates designed course is a striking contrast to the courses of the region, with numerous water features and lush exterior landscaping playing a large part in the design strategy.

The use of water features in golf course projects is a signature of many Fred Couples’ designs; and when he first saw this location, he knew this was an opportunity to implement that style once again.  Rolling terrain will be surrounded by lakes on 14 of the 18 holes, placing a real premium on accuracy off the tee.  Strong driver play will be rewarded though, with generous greens that can be attacked in benign weather conditions.  If the wind blows though as it sometimes does, Couples anticipates quite a test of skill. 

Set to open in the Spring of 2009, Trilogy Golf Club at Mountain House will proudly complement other Shea Homes and BlueStar Resort & Golf facilities in the area – Trilogy Golf Club at Rio Vista in Rio Vista, and the 27-hole Brentwood Golf Club in Brentwood, California.  Both are favorites among local players, and the team is confident that the new Trilogy will have the same warm reception from players of all skill levels.
