Looking for a more personalized approach to reaching your fitness goals? Fairwinds Centre is pleased to have two personal trainers on staff, Scott Burke and Sharon Fleming. Learn more about our personal trainers here (PDF).

Scott and Sharon will work with you to improve:

  • Functional Strength

We also offer a variety of specialized programs*, including the following:

  • Sport-specific training (golf and tennis)
  • Pre and post operation hydrotherapy
  • Postural improvement and functional training
  • Swim stroke improvement
  • Lower back pain management

*Please note that programs offered are subject to change.

Fairwinds Centre offers a variety of personal training options to suit your fitness goals:

One-on-One Training
One-on-one rates are for members only. Public rates are also available, please ask for details.


8 sessions $480

12 sessions $684

30 Minute Training Session $40

1 Hour Trial Session $70

Small Group Training
Receive the benefits of Personal Training in a small group setting of 3-4 people. Training in a small group is more affordable than one-on-one training and can be done with friends or it can be a fun way to meet new people. 


8 sessions  $199

Tandem Training for Two
Tandem training is a great way to get fit with a spouse or friend. Having another person can provide motivation that you may be lacking when trying to train on your own.


8 sessions  $259

Customized Training Package
Ideal for snowbirds, travellers and motivated individuals looking for a new program.


Includes 1 fitness assessment, 2 sessions with a trainer, and a personalized program to work on  $209

*All rates are per peron, subject to applicable taxes and may change without notice. 


EXERCISE PREPARATION

  • Bring a water bottle.
  • Avoid caffeinated beverages before sessions.
  • Don’t eat a big meal before exercising (allow three hours).
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear.
  • Bring any necessary medication (e.g. insuline, inhaler, etc.).
  • Consult with your doctor if you suffer from any medical conditions.

Cancellation Policy

A 24 hour notice to cancel fitness assessments and paid personal training sessions is required, or the session will be forfeited. A doctor’s note may be requested.
